For those who have fallen on hard times, Lowe provides practical support by way of food hampers, Christmas hampers and other methods of help.

The International Meeting Point

Lowe is delighted to be supporting the IMP – a welcoming place for people from all nations.  With courses in English as a Second Language, links with the CAP Job Club – LINK – and social activities like pool, free lunches and table tennis, the IMP is a great place to help equip internationals for life in a new country.  There are also Bible Studies in English and Farsi, and a free internet cafe.

South-West Belfast Food Bank

Lowe also supports the work of the local Foodbank as it gives hope and help to people in crisis.  All the food is generously donated by local people, and given to individuals and families who are referred to the centre by care professionals.  Once referred, the Foodbank will put together a parcel containing at least 3 days’ worth of non-perishable, nutritionally balanced foods and other essentials for everyone in the household.
